From Christchurch

  • Follow Highway 1 in the direction of Picton. 10 km after passing through Amberley turn left at Waipara to Highway 7 (Lewis Pass, Westcoast).
  • Follow Highway 7 for 23 km (pass Waikari) and turn left at the sign 'The Dutch Station & Dutch Golf 6 km' into the Hurunui-Hawarden Road. (Please note that there is a sign 'Hawarden 8 km' around the corner into Waikari as well. Disregard this sign and continue on the main highway!)
  • After 3 km there is a curve in the road to the left. Turn right at this point into Bentleys Road. There is a small yellow sign below the name of the street indicating 'Dutch Golf'
  • 3 km down Bentleys Road (gravel after the first bridge) you will find 'The Dutch Station' on your right after crossing the second bridge.

From the Westcoast, Hanmer springs or Kaikoura (via Waiau)

  • Follow Highway 7 through Culverden, cross the Hurunui River and then turn right at the sign 'The Dutch Station & Dutch Golf 6 km' into the Hurunui-Hawarden Road.
  • After 3 km there is a curve in the road to the left. Turn right at this point into Bentleys Road. There is a small yellow sign below the name of the street indicating 'Dutch Golf'
  • 3 km down Bentleys Road (gravel after the first bridge) you will find 'The Dutch Station' on your right after crossing the second bridge.

From Kaikoura (via Greta Valley)

  • Follow Highway 1 to Greta Valley and turn right to Scargill and Waikari.
  • Turn right at the end of this road (26 km) and then left after 100m. Follow the road through Waikari to Hawarden (8 km).
  • In Hawarden go straight ahead at the 'roundabout' and turn right into Bentleys Road after 2 more km. There is a small yellow sign indicating 'Dutch Golf' at the roundabout and at the turnoff to Bentleys Road.
  • Follow Bentleys Road for 1.4 km and you will find 'The Dutch Station' on your left (at the end of the shelterbelt).
